For us, it is undoubtedly the best in the franchise. Odyssey has one of the best Assassin’s Creed protagonists in Kassandra, a great story and missions, beautiful scenery, and it balanced the RPG and action gameplay better than any other game in the series. The main story takes place before either organization existed. Interestingly, a large majority of this story has little to nothing to do with the Assassins and Templars, only referencing them in the current-day portions. This game is set in ancient Greece, where you play as either Kassandra or Alexios and fight to take down the Cult of Kosmos.
